Cambodia’s cashew industry took the global spotlight at the World Cashew Conference 2025, where producers from across the Kingdom promoted the quality and potential of Cambodian cashew nuts to international buyers.
The Cambodian delegation, led by the Ministry of Agriculture and key exporters, showcased premium products and held talks with potential importers from Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The goal: to position Cambodia as a major player in the global cashew supply chain.
“Cambodia's cashew sector is rapidly modernizing, and international recognition is a crucial step for growth,” said a representative from the Cashew Nut Association of Cambodia. The country’s cashew production is projected to increase by 20% this year, driven by expanded cultivation areas and improved processing capacity.
The presence at the Dubai conference aligns with government efforts to diversify agricultural exports and reduce dependency on raw commodity sales.
